STATE OF THE ART MODERN TECHNOLOGY

At Riviera Village Optometry, we have state-of-the-art instruments to care for your vision. Our doctors use the most advanced technology to discover the subtle changes in the eye related to glaucoma and macular disease.

THE IVUE OPTICALCOHERENCE TOMOGRAPHER

It is an instrument that utilizes non-invasive diagnostic imaging technology to provide high-resolution, cross-sectional images of the eye. Rather than just seeing a flat face view of your eye, the doctor can see a 3D view!

AUTOREFRACTOR

An autorefractor measures how light is changed as it enters your eye and is used to determine the starting point for your prescription.  It measures the shape of your cornea and roughly measures your prescription.

VISUAL FIELD ANALYSIS

A visual field measures your peripheral vision. It is helpful in detecting and monitoring the progression of glaucoma. It can sometimes detect neurological changes effecting peripheral vision.

MEDMONT CORNEAL TOPOGRAPHER

We have a state-of-the-art optical diagnostic instrument that generates a topographical map of your eye, enabling our doctors to see corneal irregularities and assist in complex contact lens fittings.

DIGITAL FUNDUS PHOTOGRAPHY

We also conduct digital fundus photography by taking a high-resolution photograph to obtain crystal clear images of your retina and optic nerve for documentation and future reference.
